Two Vehicle Accident Caused By Brake Failure In Kentucky

Two vehicles collided last night in Kentucky due to brake failure.

According to media reports, 20-year-old Dustin Duncan of Paducah was driving his pick-up truck westbound on US Highway 60 West and was approaching a red light at the intersection with Metropolis Lake Road.

Duncan tried to stop, but his breaks encountered a mechanical failure and he hit a car being driving by 69-year-old Richard Frazier also of Paducah.

Frazier was driving southbound on Metropolis Lake Road and was attempting to cross the intersection.

Both drivers were taken to local hospitals for minor injuries.
