FMSI Unveils New Database

FMSI has just launched the well-anticipated modern and fully integrated very user-friendly database.  This was all part of the aggressive five-year plan rolled out to our members in June 2017 according to Frank Oliveto FMSI President.

“Which is well ahead of plan,” he said. “It is all about updating our catalog with new D number applications to our members with speed, accuracy and pleasant experience while visiting the members-only site.”

FMSI heavily invested in state-of-the-art technology such as 3D scanning for the most accurate measurements and 360 high-resolution photo spin technology.  This really complements the new database.

“We did not want to saddle a dead horse or let’s say window dress the old outdated operating systems, so we started with a clean sheet of paper,” said Oliveto.  “It was a complete rebuild from an operational standpoint, from the inside after relocating to Auburn hills Michigan and opening the very modern, innovative and fully integrated office.”

“FMSI functions as non -profit organization and has very engaged Officers and board members who all volunteer their services,” said chairman Bill Carney. “FMSI is a very lean organization and offers a tremendous value to our members with a very low cost of membership.

“We have a highly-skilled staff consisting of a General Manager a full-time technician and a part-time membership director.”

He added, “Our recent capital investment in technology and fully integrating the FMSI office, hiring highly skilled staff and reducing discretionary spending have improved our operating efficiency.  The organization’s annual membership fees are already the industry lowest for such services and we don’t anticipate any dues increase.”
