CRASH: Brake Rotor Causes Brush Fire

This is tough to believe, but how often do you find chunks of brake rotor with out a vehicle not too far away?

 

Brush fire on both sides of Route 125 shuts down road

LEE— A portion of Route 125 was closed in both directions Thursday afternoon after a brush fire broke out on each side of the road bringing traffic to a halt for about a half-hour.

According to Sgt. Tom Dronsfield, the fire, which broke out at about 2 p.m., was about 150 yards spread out along the roadway. After trying to understand why the fire had occurred in several different spots, officials determined that a brake rotor had broken off a large truck and the pieces, still very hot, had sparked small fires on the dry ground.
